Sinus Augmentation – 3-Day Masterclass
December 5–7, 2025 | Acharya Foundation, Chennai
Master the Posterior Maxilla with Confidence:
The Acharya Foundation proudly presents an advanced learning experience on Sinus Augmentation, led by renowned Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon Dr. Yazad Gandhi (MDS, Fellow – ITI & ICD; KOL – Versah).
This masterclass is tailored for clinicians who routinely encounter atrophic posterior maxilla situations and want to elevate their skillset with predictable sinus-lift protocols supported by evidence-based practice.
Across three power-packed days, participants will progress from foundational anatomical understanding to hands-on execution of both direct and indirect sinus elevation techniques, building the competence to deliver stable, long-lasting implant outcomes for their patients.
Why This Course is Unique:
✅ Two full live surgeries with moderator-led guidance and intraoperative Q&A
✅ Dual-technique focus — lateral window & minimally invasive crestal approach
✅ Versah Densah™ osteotomy hands-on with industry-supported instrumentation
✅ Real-world decision making through case selection algorithms & risk evaluation
✅ Hybrid training model — animal jaws, high-fidelity sinus models & soft-tissue suturing stations
✅ Complication-first approach — perforations, bleeding control & graft escape protocols
✅ Pre-course onboarding + post-course mentorship & WhatsApp support
✅ Small cohort ensuring one-on-one faculty attention and personalized feedback
✅ Clinical integration plan to implement your first sinus case safely upon return to practice
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
Assessment & Planning
- Interpret CBCT findings for sinus pathology, septa, and residual bone height
- Formulate indications for lateral vs transcrestal sinus lift techniques
- Select biomaterials for grafting based on defect morphology and healing goals
Surgical Execution
- Perform flap design and elevation with minimized soft-tissue trauma
- Create a lateral antrostomy and safely elevate Schneiderian membrane
- Apply Osteodensification and internal sinus elevation methods
- Place implants simultaneously or in staged scenarios depending on RBH
Complication Management
- Diagnose and manage membrane tears with collagen patches/fibrin sealants
- Control bleeding from intraosseous anastomoses
- Maintain graft containment and prevent infections or graft migration
Prognosis & Maintenance
- Understand healing timelines, loading protocols, and long-term surveillance
- Communicate risk-benefit and expectations effectively with patients
Course Inclusions
- 2 live surgeries with moderated learning
- Hands-on sinus lift exercises on goat/sheep jaws & premium sinus models
- Biomaterial & instrumentation demonstrations (Versah, Osteobiologics partners)
- Lunch + refreshments across all days
- Certificate of Advanced Training in Sinus Augmentation
Seats are limited to maintain intensive faculty interaction.
