1. General

• By registering for a course, workshop, or booking any facility at Acharya Foundation, you agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
• Acharya Foundation reserves the right to update, modify, or amend these terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website.

2. Course Enrolments

• Admission to a course is confirmed only after receipt of full payment.
• Seats are limited and allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Acharya Foundation reserves the right to reschedule, postpone, or cancel a course in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

3. Venue Bookings

• Venue bookings (Auditorium, Boardroom, Simulation Lab, Cafeteria, etc.) are confirmed upon receipt of advance payment as communicated during booking.
• Clients are expected to use the venue responsibly and comply with safety regulations.

4. Damage & Indemnity

• Any damage, loss, or misuse of the property, equipment, or facilities of Acharya Foundation or Acharya Dental during the period of use will be the responsibility of the participant/client.
• The cost of repair or replacement, as determined by Acharya Foundation, must be reimbursed in full by the responsible party.
• Acharya Foundation reserves the right to withhold part or all of any security deposit/advance until such reimbursement is made.

5. Code of Conduct

• Participants and visitors are expected to maintain professional decorum and respect faculty, staff, and fellow participants.
• The Foundation reserves the right to remove any participant for misconduct without refund.

6. Intellectual Property

• Course material, presentations, and recordings are the intellectual property of Acharya Foundation and/or the faculty.
• Reproduction, distribution, or sharing of such material without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

7. Liability

• Acharya Foundation is not liable for personal belongings, injuries, or any indirect losses incurred during participation in courses or use of facilities.
• All participants are responsible for ensuring they meet the eligibility requirements of the respective course.

1. Acceptance of International Payments

Acharya Foundation accepts international payments for:

• Course registrations
• Fellowship programs
• Symposium/event registrations
• Auditorium / simulation lab / facility bookings
• Educational services and training programs

Payments may be processed through authorized third-party payment gateways.

All payments are subject to verification and approval.

2. Currency & Conversion

• International payments may be accepted in USD, EUR, GBP, or other supported currencies.
• Final settlement will be processed in INR (Indian Rupees).
• Currency conversion rates are determined by the payment processor and/or issuing bank.
• Acharya Foundation is not responsible for exchange rate fluctuations, conversion margins, or foreign transaction charges levied by the payer’s bank.

3. Bank & Transaction Charges

• All international bank transfer fees, intermediary bank charges, SWIFT charges, and foreign exchange fees must be borne by the
participant.
• The net amount received by Acharya Foundation must equal the invoiced amount.
• Any shortfall due to intermediary deductions must be paid by the participant before confirmation of registration.

4. Compliance with Indian Regulations

All international transactions must comply with:

• Reserve Bank of India (RBI) regulations
• FEMA (Foreign Exchange Management Act) guidelines
• Applicable GST and tax regulations in India

Participants are responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations in their home country.

5. Taxation

• GST (if applicable) will be charged as per Indian tax laws.
• International participants are responsible for any tax liabilities in their home jurisdiction.
• Acharya Foundation will issue official invoices and payment receipts upon confirmation.

6. Confirmation of Registration

Registration, booking, or enrollment is considered confirmed only after:

• Successful receipt of full payment
• Email confirmation from Acharya Foundation

Provisional registrations without payment confirmation are not guaranteed.

7. Refund Policy – International Payments

Refunds, if applicable, will be governed by the event/course-specific cancellation policy. Important conditions:

• Refunds will be processed in INR.
• Currency conversion differences at the time of refund are not refundable.
• Bank transfer fees, gateway charges, and forex charges are non-refundable.
• Refund processing time may take 14–30 business days depending on banking channels.
• Courses/symposiums/other programs will have their own specific refund policy.

No refund will be issued for:

• Visa rejection (unless explicitly stated otherwise)
• Failure to attend
• Travel disruptions beyond the control of Acharya Foundation

8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

• Any fraudulent chargeback claims will be legally contested.
• Participants agree to contact Acharya Foundation directly before initiating disputes with their bank.
• Administrative and legal costs arising from wrongful disputes may be recoverable.

9. Anti-Money Laundering & Sanctions Compliance

Acharya Foundation reserves the right to:

• Request identity verification documents
• Refuse payments originating from sanctioned jurisdictions
• Cancel transactions suspected of AML violations

10. Force Majeure

Acharya Foundation shall not be liable for cancellation, delay, or modification of programs due to:

• Government restrictions
• Visa regulations
• Natural disasters
• Acts of God
• Pandemic restrictions
• Political disturbances

In such cases, credit notes or rescheduling options may be offered at the sole discretion of the Foundation.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from international payments shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
